Agree with the cups. But not from Kmart. If they are faulty, the Kmart CEO isn't on these forums to hear the complaint.

Putting service address on the bill aint hard. Optus is just so full of themselves they dont realise people are capable of owning more than 1 property. End of thread. There's nothing to aruge here. Sorry but I think I made my point pretty clear. :)

Spare us. Then we will hear how expensive Telstra is and there will be another useless thread about that.

We get what your saying. But that's the way Optus do things. We are powerless to change it. So when we can't change things, we just adapt. There are many things relating to property investing that are frustrating. But it's part of the game.

Wait, what sort of bill? Why are you paying Optus bills for your rental(s)? Home line rental is the tenant's responsibility, as is cable Internet, Pay TV, etc.

@mja, @fullylucky is a really good person so goes out of his way to ensure his tenants are happy, if you know what I mean.

Every evening he sends around a masseuse to run warm baths and soothe away the stresses of the day.

Why do you think it has to be the tenants responsibility, aren't people free to negotiate the terms and conditions that suit them ?

Only a 'full service provider' would be sufficient?

But fortunately they bill separately ;)

Sure. Or you can look at the law. Eg Victoria:

    http://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/hous...s/utilities-telephone-internet-and-television

"Tenants are responsible for paying the general connection fee (unless otherwise agreed with the landlord) and will usually be billed for this on their initial telephone bill."

    http://www.tenants.org.au/factsheet-23-utilities :

"A landlord is not required to provide telephone, television and internet connections with the premises."

So in saying all this, my point is if these bills can be avoided, then there's no problem in the first place. Avoid the issue and keep it simple!

    @mja refer to 13:47 post by @pinkboy.

The style of accommodation requires the provision of Internet but not of kmart heaters from @Coota9 .

Overall Optus is pretty good to be honest. Delivers best value for money so I'm gonna stick with them.
    You're logic:

If you have 1 bad day at the office you quit or change to a different company...

You're not happy with Australia so you move to Afghanistan.

Quitters never win and winners never quit mate.

I'm gonna Erin Brockovich this **** and make Optus change. :D
