@Lizzie , not sure if my experiences with the skates is relevant. We had a successful website and ebay store, before we stopped importing.

There is also Etsy that can cater to the US market.
For Etsy and Amazon US you would have to have the manufacturing and drop shipping logistics down first doing it from here.

Gotta say… I love my height. Pants fit me well, lengths are good in most circumstances. If off the rack pants are not the right length for me, it’s not me that’s the issue, it’s them :)

I like my height for most things. Not too tall, not short.

    Sorry!

@Lizzie, good luck with your idea, I think it’s a real goer :)

Not petit (I'm 175cm), but yes to curvy ... Pear

80% are Apples or Rectangles and therefore the clothes are pretty shapeless clothing - not good when you're only asset is a waist

I think pears should wear dresses/skirts that come out at the bottom (ie. not straight).

Seen some pants that wearers look Oompa Loompa like…. (Sorry, it sounds mean, but it’s true).

Anyway, not being a pear, you’d know better.

Pants are rarely a pear's friend ... if not overweight, can get away with "suck it in" full length gym pants with an eye distracting, waist hugging top - otherwise - more flattering to just don't go there

I’m not sure if me and the kids are in your 20% with a small waist and a decent butt. A belt is always necessary to pull in the sometimes unappealing bulging waist/excess fabric. Elastic waist over fitted waist is easier, even for my son.

Yes it's not that hard once you learn what's required. The hard work is in the beginning I have found.

    There's nothing wrong with pears.

Men never say "there's a nice apple" or "what a nice rectangle". But they will often comment on a nice pear.

Pears and Hourglasses make up the 20% ... sadly for us most clothes are made for Apple's

hahahaha - not sure if your spelling is off ... pear or pair?

Anyhow, up to sourcing items stage (in between lunch with girlfriends and shifting enormous mounds of damp and stinky mushroom compost into the garden beds.

Would like to keep it domestic to start with, and perhaps some products from Bali - I've personally bought from China and the end product is "nothing" like the smoke and mirrors of the photograph depicts. I've also found sizing very dodgy when buying from China - although will seriously look at 5star suppliers from AliExpress

So, if anyone has any recommendations, I'd love to hear them. A few I'm already looking into (amongst others) to see if they'll fit the brand vision:

Haha… I never said it wasn’t! I just thought of the movie when I saw your thread. Hopefully, it wasn’t a total waste of your 2 hours.
