Onkaparinga (SA) Medium Density Changes

    So as you probably know, the Onkaparinga council are currently reviewing their Medium Density Policy Area 40 because of feedback and complaints received back from local communities surrounding previous developments which have been done.

    Loss of privacy, increased parking on the street and lack of landscaping have been sited as some of the complaints from local communites.

    In their proposed changes which you can read below, they have used an example where under the current policy a 900sqm block could support a five townhouse development and under the new proposal this would be reduced to three.

    Could these proposed changes affect future investment in the Medium Density Policy Area and thus affect the market there with developers not seeing the same returns as they would have previsouly?
