It looks like a perfectly normal house from the outside, but it escalates quickly. 480 Rainier Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15239 | MLS #1445093
OMG, I love it not... this is a recent sale on this street, higher price point 452 Rainier Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15239
Omg this house is like if Hogwarts, Star Trek, and Hawaii-50 all had a weird love-child. And said love-child was a house and not an actual child.
Pittsburgh is about the size of Brisbane. Show me a house on 800 sqm for under 250k AUD in Brisvegas .... it doesn't look so bad now huh?
Pittsburgh has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 27. Bris Vegas doesn’t look that expensive now. Does it?
dont trust taxes on zillow, only way of knowing correct figure is through the city insurance should be around $600-800 pa, if you are paying too much you are using the wrong insurance company
County taxes (council rates) can swing more wildly in some parts of the US than (generally speaking of course...) most councils around Australia. I think Zillow and trulia just average all counties tax rates across the entire state and spit out that averaged number in the listings. I looked at a few properties in Ohio for instance (one in each of the three C's cities) and Zillow pretty much had the identical county taxes for each of them! I doubt each of the three cities would be exactly the same.
