Once in a lifetime opportunity - Guaranteed $100k retuns in 2 months!!

I wish it was that easy but most investment advice sources are filled with claims like this thread's title and they not only grab quick attention but also mislead a lot of novice investors.

Why not list all such investment traps and dodgy RE tactics in one thread for the benefit of each other?

(Sorry to those who really opened this looking for a guaranteed $100 K)

Run from a deal when you read something like this:

“Hurry! Buy now or you’ll miss out! Only two units left!”

If the deal comes with free furnishings, flat screen TVs, iPhones, cash rebates and so on, there's definitely something wrong!!!!

This property had a much higher offer on the first open but buyers finance fell through and seller in the meanwhile signed a contract to buy elsewhere hence you will be able to score a bargain if you signed the contract before 9pm tonight.

This is so outdated. Why scam people when you can just sell them property seminars & training courses?

I saw one of those Binary things came up on my Facebook feed (sponsored), it was "Lie Detector Millionaire".

Started of with this guy taking a lie detector as he wanted to prove to people he was legit as he used to be a scammer. I didn't watch the whole video (went for 25 mins), but I thought at one point it was a bit weird. They had this new piece of software that could predict what was going to happen very well (I skipped so never got to hear what it was). Apartently this software turned this man's money (the person who took the lie detector) to over 12,000 in one hour and I am guessing the initial investment was $250. Reason I guess $250 is because at one part of the video he said doesn't matter if it is $250, $500, $1,000 or even $10,000.

Anyway it was rather bizarre as in one part of the video (early on) he says if you have seen this video it means they still have spots to beta test this program that is limited to 50 spots and as a beta tester you will not need to pay for a licence once it is released... Sweet! However just a small bit of DD, looked at the number of views and the video had been viewed over 12,000,000x! So with 12M views lets just call it 6M people you couldn't find 50 people to beta test this 'program' that could turn $250 into $12k in under 1 hr... Score, so I signed up and put an initial deposit in/transferred $15,000.

At the moment they are wanting the funds to clear but they said there are some charges (e.g. tax and bank fees) that total about another $1,000 that I need to pay. Which I will be paying later tonight, I cant wait to get this system going for me!

BTW I have not signed up or transferred any money it as the old story with everything, if it sounds good to be true then it is and a simple google search for Lie Detector Millionaire will bring up scam results. One of the scam review website says that when you log onto the Lie Detector Millionaire website is that the number of spots left will tick down from 50 (or some number) and make you panic into buying (as not to miss out), however if you delete your cookies (I think they said) it will refresh back up to the starting number again.

I love that Walter Green video. If he is uch a massive millionaire, why did he hire such cheap-a$$ actors in each of the parts lol.

Seriously, I've seen low-grade Mexican soap operas with better acting that that hahaaha
