Got home from the meetup last night at around 12.45am, after Hubby prompting me several times that it was time to go. Then I had to get up early to take him to the station. It's now just past 12.00 noon and I've already had to have two (yes, two) nanna naps to feel human.:(

Sydney meetup and with recent sydney property prices, I'm picturing lots of champagne and caviar.

Haha, massive is an understatement! We get kicked out of the bistro at something like 10.00pm, and I couldn't count how many of us retired upstairs to keep yackking away. I'm not a night person at all, and will often want to be home in bed by 10.30, but I've found that I'm never tired at these events. They could go all night long.......but I pay for it the next day. Lucky I don't have a job to go to.:D

Same as at all of them that have been going on for years at Somersoft across all cities. You should come to one.

Well....we've got a secret society going. Can't reveal all the secrets, you'd have to come along to find out. Expect such rare sights as @sash sitting on @Simon Hampel knee (don't ask what they were up to), while @DaveM is throwing around liquid glue, while @beachgurl throws the glitter & @Steven Ryan is busy with the feathers. Me, I just sit all innocently watching.

True story: When I started work at one of my previous employers, the admin assistant and I were having a chat. Anyway, she's asking me a whole bunch of questions and finally gets around to 'So, how old are you?' I told her I was 34.

Her reaction: *gasp!* "OMG! That's SO old!"

The adviser and I just started cracking up laughing.

It's obvious you haven't had kids. Mine used to think that anyone older than 20 was ancient. As they get older the 'ancient' age goes up a bit, but it's always there in the background. One even asked (when quite young) if we had met any dinosaurs.

They've been getting bigger each time. We had just over 60 at the last count last night. Standing room only for many, as I reserved as many chairs & tables as I could, but they just kept coming.
Yep! That's right!:p And pin the tail....of course we did! @Bargain Hunter was the donkey. :D

Absolutely! Although utterly impossible to talk to everyone. They just keep getting better & better.
