Hello everyone it's time to book in the next meet-up.

As per my comments in this thread NSW - Western Sydney Meetup - Wednesday 21st September It will be on Wednesday 23rd Novemver 2016. As per the last meetups, it will be held at the Wentworthville Leagues Club, starting at 6.30pm, but if you're early, that's cool too, as we'll be there at least an hour beforehand to secure plenty of seating.

Everybody is welcome! We'll be located in the Bistro. Just look for the large group of unrelated, multi nationality, multi age group. These meetups are great, not just for catching up with those you already know, but for meeting other like minded people. So...don't be shy, come along, meet some people and have some fun!

It will be a big week for me - I'm going to the North Ryde one on the 24th!

There's a North Ryde one on the 24th?

I posted back in September that the 23rd would probably be the best date, seeing how we've been doing them every 2 months for a while now.

I wouldn't worry too much. You'll still get a good turn up. North Ryde is out of the way for many people.

Hi @skater, my apology for arranging the meet up on 24th at North Ryde. I was partial responsible for it. I didn't know there is a meet up on the 23rd before deciding the date on 24th. hope you don't mind. I was initially proposing a Mandarin speaking investors meet up, and subsequently taking the advantage of already organised meet up on the 24th.

I am a regular attendee at Wenty. I will try to attend the 23rd as well.

BTW, haven't heard from you for a while. how is the retirement/semi-retirement going?

That's fine. I didn't know about yours because I've been missing a lot lately. Retirement is busy, busy, busy. :D

The food IS good at Wenty....and so much selection too. That's one of the reasons I like it so much there, as well as being kind of central, heaps of parking, not too far to walk from the train etc.

Is Wenty's food really better than The Ranch and the Sharks?

Absolutely....I think others will also agree...the slop they pass is food at the Ranch is embarrassing...for that pleasure you are paying $20 plus....

To be honest, I've never been to The Ranch or the Sharks, but Wenty has several different options....something for everyone! You've got the Bistro, where we usually sit, but then you can go upstairs, to the coffee lounge, and they have a selection, or the Thai? or is it Chinese? I can't remember, but there's Asian food upstairs as well, and around the on the other side of the Bistro, I think is Pizza.

Is the Sharks the one in the city? The food there is very good - but if you don't like Thai or feel like something different you don't have any other choice.

That's the good thing about Wenty's - lots of choice and good food too. Just a pity it's so far away - takes me over an hour to get there.
