Hi guys, who fixes the broken lights on the ceilings in a strata apartment? I have two broken lights in a property in NSW they are not hanging in my airspace. I thought it would be strata because it is stuck with the ceiling but they have refused. Is that right?

Are they on your lot? Then they're yours. If they are outside on the wall but you control the light switch, they're yours. If they're outside and on common property and connected to 'house power' or common supply/timer, then it's strata.

If they are on the ceilings, then it's probably going to be your coin.

In your apartment, you. In common areas such as drive way, corridor, stairwell; body corporate
