NSW Sales Data - how to get it from globe.six.nsw.gov.au

    Haven't seen this mentioned here before, but there is an easy way to retrieve sales data for the last 4 years in NSW. You can tweak the URL of globe.six.nsw.gov.au to get data for any particular suburb in NSW, here is an example:

    http://globe.six.nsw.gov.au/Propert...ml?type=suburb&postcode=2067&suburb=CHATSWOOD

    You need to adjust both the postcode and suburb parameters, and then you will get a downloadable csv file with address, price, sale date, area, strata/non strata, property number.

    Thanks for sharing. If the suburb has 2 or more words in the name, how do you check it (eg Castle Hill)?

    For me, the suburb had to all be in capital letters to work

    Just had a look, appears a heck of a lot more strata than non strata sold in Epping and Chatswood in the last 4 years. But it makes sense because of the huge amount of Strata property that was built and available for sale....
