Tuned into the Leaders' debate on ABC last night.

Gladys banging on about achievements & hammering Daley on some porkies so setting the tone of the campaign on trustworthiness.

Daley focussing on overspending, cost of living, some stadium in Moore Park and light rail.

Far Out Brussell Sprout .... couldn't watch it - couldn't listen to all day on the radio today either .... the slagging just riles me the wrong way.

Wrote my first ever protest letter to my local member regarding a new coal power station in our area - the announcement of which has unleashed a huge amount of rage in the electorate. Email back from member says it is unviable and won't get up - but is setting a real tone for the coming elections - that the pollies still aren't listening.

There's a gabfest in the Innerwest of Sydney with the greens, reds & blues sending their candidate for a grilling. I want to hear all about how much they're (not) spending on critical bicycle infrastructure. Why the number includes pedestrian walkways? What the breakup is.

This and why all the fancy new toll roads they are building have zero dedicated bus lanes on them? Oh - I already know the answer to that: because the toll road operators don't get paid when someone takes a bus - only cars!

I didn’t know they didn’t dedicate lanes for buses. That sounds as such a bad planning move....

One for the Libs - before and after school care at all primary schools, what a difference it would have made for me, single parent of 4 children. This would have to be vote catcher for all parents of primary school children ... :D

    Typical modern GovCo
They would rather private enterprise build things.......
That way if it goes wrong, they blame the private consortium !
If it goes well, they take the credit for "allowing" the project to take place !

I have yet to find just one pollie I'd WANT to vote for o_O

Although the pollies always deny stuff that's going on at a Federal level affect State (and vice versa) ... it always has and always will.

Barnaby desperate to get back in the second-to-top job is not helping anyone.

I'm driving around and noticing alot of bumper stickers for "Vote Tony Out".

I have googled "Tony Out" but can't find anyone by that name. What are his policies? Is he an independent? A radical? A ratbag?

I don't support anyone who has multiple wives and lives in Utah - or anyone who uses stereotypes to support their argument either for that matter!
