The calls were terrible each way.

The forward pass call on Nuuausala was a wrong call - and could have resulted in a try to Canberra.

Fafita looked to be offside on that no try call as well - so could have been a penalty to Canberra which would have given them the win.

Oh well - story of the season so far. We can't finish off the close ones. Very entertaining game though. Bloody cold at the end.

    Cheers

It was a high action game throughout, lots of penalties early.
I was worried that Austin fella was gonna be dangerous, but he was kept under control, although he almost stole it at the end.

Austin is having a breakout season - he's an excellent player. Seems like a decent guy off the field too. The Canberra fans love him - must be the most popular player at the moment.

Our defence kills us - especially out wide. We've got a good team - and we're capable of more. We can't blame the refs each week - need to get those close wins and we'd be sitting in the eight.

Your sharks are hitting form at the right time. Fifita is a good player - he killed us.

We got our moneys worth this arvo though! Entertaining game.

    Cheers

    Jamie

Don't know about the sharks but the Broncos are looking like potential premiers

Cowboys / Broncos grand final is on the cards. Would be interesting to see what sort of crowd they got to that one.

The Cowboys tend to always come close but they never quite make it, if JT gets injured their season would be over.

Perhaps watch the last 10 minutes of each of their last game in the last 3 years - take special note of the referee's calls....

    Yep it's looking that way.

It would still be a sell out - broncos supporters seem to be everywhere.

Ace in the Hole I live in Cronulla. Yes the sharks have beaten the rabbitohs this year, but if they are to lose to anyone I don't mind to much if it is the sharks that beat them. The rabbits had a win at the scg last night which I went to with my son, it was freezing.

JT getting injured isn't the Cowboys biggest worry if you ask me. I'm more worried about their defense.

Nobody gave the Sharks a chance against the Dogs, they've never lost at Belmore 24/24 now.

Good game by the sharks. Shame they will be without the fifita grubs for the next few weeks.

Good win for cronulla - was a good game to watch.

My raiders got up too :) we've got a relatively good run for the rest of the season so hopefully we sneak into the eight. We could cause an upset if we do - seem to perform well away from home.

Yeah, they do seem to have a relatively easy run from here and looking strong now.
If only they beat the Sharks last week they wold have been in the 8 and odds on to stay there.

Warriors look shot without Shauno and if the Dragons continue to lose, the Raiders won't have to do much to scrape into the 8.
Who know's, even the Dogs could drop out as they have some tough games ahead.

All right, I had to bail on this bet because the odds were just too good to refuse.
Original bet was with Sportsbet at odds of 5.00, they are now 1.10 !!!
Now, the odds for the Sharks to miss the 8 are 6.50, so I started taking bets in $200 lots, as there is a cash out option on this bet so I might stagger the cash outs depending on odds.
Anyway, on the third $200 bet they refuse to take it and offer me only 5.50 even though odds are still advertised at 6.50, damn them...
So with the attitude of Problems are Opportunities, I checked out Crownbet which I had an old account with when they were BetEzy.
They were paying even better at 7.00, haha.
So then I'm having trouble processing my credit card online and I call them up and do a deposit on the spot, just $300. I asked for a bonus bet and the guy gives me an extra $100 :)
So then I smack down the $400 for a $2,700 return.
All in all, if the sharks make the 8, I'll net $3,300 profit.
    If they don't make the 8 I'll net $3,600.
Completely covered and don't have to stress now.

I hate to say it, but I think their good run will come to an end and there's a high chance they'll lose the next 3 games.
The 3 games after that will be easier, but it will cause a fright to make the 8.
I think their odds to make the 8 will blow out and then come back in again, so there may be some betting action still to come the way I've structured my bets.

Yeah, they just somehow keep winning by small margins.
