    My wife and I visited Notre Dame during our honeymoon back in 2008. What impressed us was the level of fine detail everywhere you looked. Whilst we know that they put a lot more effort into detail back in those days compared to now, if they rebuild it to the same level of detail using comparable techniques then it should remain just as impressive as it was before the fire, at least to people like us who appreciated it simply on face value and not for any religious reasons.

    They are talking now about ring able to recover some of the huge sums of money which it will cost to rebuild.
