    Nothing on TV anymore.
    Great that’s why I don’t have one.

But what do you mean “anymore”
Wasn’t it always mindless entertainment and a big fat nothing?

We haven't watched FTA TV for a few years (including News).
We do however watch a ridiculous amount of other garbage which i'm starting to realise needs to change. Last couple of weeks i have bought some new board games for the family and find its much batter value (Entertainments/hour) playing board games.

This new scifi is really good IMO. A lot of nudity, fights and futuristic stuff. Cant wait for the next episode!

If my memory serves me correctly this is my 18th year without owning a TV (im 35).

I don’t miss it one bit.

I often only raise this point when people complain about the crap which is on tv. Then are suprised when I say I don’t have one.
I’m not sure who is missing the point... but I don’t think it’s me?

There is some good stuff on FTA - just watched part of a really interesting Ch.73 prog on the Mallee over breakfast and I'm a sucker for the SBS railway progs - but what really irritates me is their habit of running over time (e.g. end at 7.36) in the hope you'll decide not to channel swap as you've missed the beginning of something else and the policy of not carrying rival channels on your EPG. Most of the time though I work at home with the radio on, either UK BBC streamed or an ABC channel.
