With all of the traffic lights on Old Windsor Rd, Metro won hands down.

I've been catching the Metro from Tallawong to the city via Chatswood since day 1 of operation & am very happy with the service ... it's saving me between 30-40 mins per day

This utopia has already happened for me. 25 minutes on the train to work and a 10-15 minute walk at each end. Now averaging 10km/week in the car instead of 300km per week.

Replaced my car last year but just discovered there are go-gets parked just 5 minutes walk from home.

So much more of Sydney to have more rapid transport connectivity in the future:

Gotta give some kudos to the Libs. Labor would have done diddly squat with the coffers.

These are the additional routes in the early stages of planning:
    • Westmead to the planned western Sydney airport
    • Bankstown to Liverpool
    • St Marys to Rouse Hill
    • Western Sydney aerotropolis to Macarthur.
NSW govt to extend metro to new airport

Media beat up. Funding allocated to buy land. Specific amount identified in budget as they have selected the site.

From memory no specific date was set for construction prior to election. I think they will use construction funding as an election sweetener for next election.

Good to see suburbs like Quakers hill, Kellyville in the list of growth suburbs due to granny flat potential

Rental property vacancies are already upwards of 8% in the hills district. This is a long time away from even being a dream.
