Could get a VERY nice 4 bedroom place up the road in Noosa Waters/Heads for much less than that albeit without the amazing views and proximity to the beach.

    Cheers

I have seen rentals of $15k for the week for a 2 bed unit at peak time in this street. Low rise units and very restricted.

There's only one street - demand vs supply.

Shower at the foot of the bed. That is a brothel.

Complex used to be "On The Beach". The units with rooftop spas are the ones to go for!

You'd have to be insanely keen on being able to repeatedly tell absolutely everyone you know that you have a place on Hastings Street to not just buy a much larger & nicer apartment for <$1m 5-10 minutes away and have $500,000+ to fund a town car service to shuttle you 5-10 minutes down the road and back.

Honestly I don't get this at all, they are paying a huge premium to be right on the bit of beach where all the tourists are. Why pay a premium to have to share your space with the proletariat to avoid a commute of a few minutes?

That's the same price ballpark as this place:
    50 Saltwater Avenue Noosa Waters Qld 4566 - House for Sale #125718978 - realestate.com.au

Which is a 4 bed, 2 bath, 2 car on a 930m2 lot with a marina berth.. its a whopping 9 minute drive / 4.6km to Sails restaurant (which is in my opinion, the best restaurant on Hastings St).

    absolutely nuts.

Probably want to use it as an AirBnb? The location may get a good premium
