Got a quote as per title. Quote is under 4k, which seems expensive. Getting another quote shortly.

What are people thoughts on the price of the work being done? I'm not an expert at all.

Full Single Phase Mains / Earthing / 12 Module Switchboard Upgrade
Disconnect and remove old undersized mains cabling from switch board to meter panel to point of attachment.

Install new 16mm single phase mains cabling

Supply and fit 1 new single-phase meter hinged meter panel

Supply and fit 1 new 80-amp single phase mains box to point of attachment

Supply and fit 1single phase razor bracket to point of attachment

    Disconnect and remove existing switchboard.

Install new 12 module switchboard to premises.

Install all associated safety switches and circuit breakers.

Always good to get multiple quotes. In my experience this would be on the higher side of what I would expect, but that varies per region

I paid around $1000 for new mains cabling upgrade to 16mm and new point of attachment connectors in my QLD property.

Depending on the amount of circuits there is likely another $1000 in hardware for the switchboard, enclosure, RCD's
