Is it an undesirable feature to be next to a battle axe?

  1. Not at all. It's better! One less neighbour!

  2. Not undesirable but it may affect future resale value

  3. Undesirable and will definitely affect resale value

  4. I am not sure

  5. Neither desirable nor undesirable

Hi folks, in your opinion, would it be an undesirable feature for a property to be located next to "the handle" of a battle axe, as per photo battle-axe
If so, why? What's undesirable about it?

You share a fence with only 2 neighbours.

It wouldn’t be an issue to me. When I see properties with entertaining areas beside each other that’s when I don’t buy.

Yeah, you’re right , I’m definitely overthinking. Ultimately, it’s just a box of chocolate worth a few dollars that I’m considering buying

It could be a detracting feature if the driveway leads to flats, where you could have cars in and out through the day. A driveway servicing one house is no different than if that house is beside your block and not behind you.

You’re definitely overthinking it. It all depends on the property.

Your rear is their front, so if you have a rear neighbour often late to come home or early to work, they might generate a bit of noise if you place your bedroom at the rear of the house. But looks like the neighbourhood is all battle-axed.

Noise of their vehicles within a few metres of your house could be an issue

Detracts. Only if it's not a floody block, AND interest rates move 3 %.

Grew up living in a battleaxe, was fantastic. Now live in front of 2 x battleaxe blocks. Wouldn't do it again. One guy is a tradie so early starts in the truck down the driveway. Bins are the last in the street to be brought in. Couriers, uber eats always trying to deliver to us by mistake.

it was a confusing vote :) but I don't think it maters too much - too many variables.
