    Awesome. With the cost of building a house was low in the past… my grandparents put a living and bedroom extension on their house in Maroubra for $300, I think it mustn’t have been long after Australia started using decimal currency. My Aunty says my grandparents thought it was the best money they ever spent :).
    My grandmother and aunty still live there.

    Awesome! The building costs look so cheap! I remember back then it cost the same for me to do an extension as it would to build new.
