After my horrible attempt of making this thread last week, i got the mods to delete it as i couldn't edit it.

I think we should do a monthly meet up either the first week or the last week of each month so
    its easy to remember.

Plenty of people said February was no good so i thought we could start in march.

Just pick the day or afternoon that suits you best and hopefully we can make something work.

Any day, any time, will likely be suitable to me. I very much look forward to a regular scheduled opportunity to share and seek information.

Everyone will have different time priorities throughout the year. I think there are enough like-minded investors in Newie to form a reasonable forum, even if kicking off in Feb.

    Cheers

I'm ok most nights (subject to work commitments) but I think my preference is Sunday afternoon.

I'm in the process of looking and buying my first investment property.

What kind of things would be covered in the meet up?

    Same. But no real preferences.

Sunday morning is long run time.

    Hi Guys

From my viewpoint, sharing our experiences goes a long way towards learning. I will be more than happy to have a regular coffee chat without the pressure of having to focus on a specific topic, or to have guest speakers, which can take a fair amount of organising & potentially jeopardise the objecting of meeting to share & learn. Meet-ups may ‘fall over’ if it gets too difficult to arrange, whereas a regular pre-scheduled coffee chat, for whoever is available on the pre-set day, is simple & sweet.

If we have a focus topic on a particular meet-up, no probs, but we should bear in mind that we all have varying degrees of knowledge that we can share, from 1st time purchase, to multiple properties and developments. It’s simple to make known on the day if any one of us would like info on a specific topic.

First of all, we need to kick off on a scheduled meet-up, to which I am looking very much forward.

    Cheers
