Hi I came across PC not too long ago whilst looking to get into investing through property. However, the focus has shifted to buying my first home here in Melbourne, as I have been renting for quite a while now. I am an absolute beginner in this field, and so am looking to get familiar with what is involved. My initial thoughts are to talk to any recommended mortgage brokers in Melbourne to see what my options would be as I have an IP overseas and am interested in knowing what else is out there rather than selling it and putting the funds towards a home here. Would like to know the forums thoughts. Regards
Hi @Melbcr These days it is not necessary to sit down in front of a broker. You can work with broker based anywhere, so it depends if you are fussy about wanting a face-to-face meeting or not. A couple of the great choices are @Richard Taylor (QLD based), @Peter_Tersteeg (VIC based) @Mitesh Dedhia (VIC based) @Jamie Moore (ACT based), @Rolf Latham (NSW based). I believe @Peter_Tersteeg is away for a week or so however @Jerry O is looking after things in his absence.
