Any ideas on how to rent out a stunning brand new Inner Sydney (Pyrmont) waterfront apartment off market? Gorgeous property but can't be advertised on REA or Domain (long story). Anyone on here want to rent it?

I want to know the story!!

Have you tried to reach out to some relocation agents? I know a lot in Melbourne like to approach the agent rather than the other way, but worth a shot. Or do you have something similar you can refer people over to/have another company local that you’re friends with that might have someone?

Owners don't want to furnish and would be too much wear and tear. I've tried gumtree, rent, fb marketplace.

Yeah I've contacted relocation agents but they're a bit distant - got any in Sydney that you know? Its too niche to have something similar. I even tried contacting agents with similar properties on the market!

Lol give me a call for the story :)

Mel this is the exec market providing its not a pokey apt and then you will have trouble. Many of these building have all sorts of uber strict strict strata rules. The toaster is draconian as is the Astra !!! Its like a court hearing. And very nosey neighbours. There are specialist exec agencies that handle this. I had a client with three in one building at finger wharf. eg Sotheby's, Malouf out at Double Pay etc Reputation can avoid adverts.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel with some of those.

I've got a mate living up in Macquarie St (Toaster) but this might be too far out of town.

I don’t have any relocation contacts in Sydney :(

A friend of mine said they have housed a lot of people from large companies like Nestle, Volkswagen and Westpac and suggested maybe touching base with some of them?

Could you do a paid FB and Instagram marketing campaign? Get it straight into your target market. I’ve not tried it, but if it’s exec could be worth a go. Maybe add a video tour in so you can market interstate to people in the right kind of demographic?

You haven't scraped the bottom of the barrel yet.

Did you say $300 per week :)

This could be a well-priced PChat short term let, as a shining example of the "sharing" economy...

So true. But, erh, somehow I don't think it is going to happen.

It 'll be a nice place to have a bogan theme night party though. Wouldn't need to try hard lol.

    Every second night.

And no need to worry about strata and their ridiculous Notices To Comply!

Just RTS them to the Owners Corp mailbox.

Woohoo! VBs, JDs, Winnie Reds and burnouts!
