    Be interesting to see if that boosts the median housing market and gets first home owners back into the market. Was definitely a strategic campaign to get labour into power

    It should help for a few months.

    The real problem is the fundamentals in the NT aren't great...

    The housing grant will help, but I am not sure if it is a solution per se.

    One positive thing with nt is still yield, although Darwin will most likely see a drop in yield with more competition. Alice Springs and Tenant Creek seem to hold their own in yield and even capital growth. The market is definitely not as buoyant there as previous but strong rental yields
