Hello all. My name is Rohit Prasad and I am based in Sydney and Gold Coast. I used to be an accountant, turned into a high school teacher (Maths and PDHPE) and now working for myself as a mortgage broker and loving it I read a lot in Somersoft last year and fell in love with the information and knowledge people had in investing, so I thought I would join the group and add insight through property chat. Recently I bought a couple of properties in the Logan area (Crestmead to be precise) that most people know of and since those purchases, its fair to say, I am in love with investing, especially when the numbers add up. Welcome to PropertyChat! My brother in law was just in logan this weekend looking at some properties. I have yet to make that transition. Anyway, look forward to hearing your insights on the area.
Hey Ken. the area is great for rental return, plus there has already been growth too. you havnt missed the boat yet, but more investors are looking to buy in the area now, so It is harder to find a deal. A lot of properties are being snapped up quite quickly, but there is definite value there.
