    G’day PC,

I’m Keaton and a new member to the PC community.

    A little about myself:
I am late 20’s and work as an engineer in construction, the nature of which generally sees me relocating every 3 years or so. Grew up on the NSW Central Coast and have recently relocated to Western Sydney for work.

I have come to property chat as I am looking to purchase my first IP within the next 6 months – budgeting around $550k. So currently learning as much as I can about the market and where I can find best value. Looking forward to getting my foot in the door, while making sure I start my journey off on the right foot ha.

Reading over the forum thus far I am encouraged by the strong sense of community here and I’m keen to get involved. Planning to head to the Sydney catch-up next Thursday, so might see some of you there!

PC is prolly the place to find before buying IP1.

    Good to have you here..

    Where are you considering buying?

    Hi and welcome

Going to the catch-ups on here is probably the best way to network. Obviously despite a fairly common goal, everyone has different ambitions or methods of doing things so always good to converse.

Hey Property Twins, I was just listening to you on SPI yesterday!
Have been leaning towards Brisbane thus far, however my mind certainty isn't made up and I'm still building my understanding of the different locations and drivers to make an informed decision.

@Keato99 welcome to the land of PC.

Arguably the best place to get an education on all things property related and some.

    Cheers.

Sounds good! Most of our clients have been buying in Brisbane and a few in Melbourne. Cash flow is one of the key differences between the two.

    Hi KR
I'm 12 months into my investing journey and have found this forum to be a great tool to learn and network.
I like to follow regular posters and look at topics they've commented on recently, you have a couple here that have some great insight so enjoy the read.
Terry w and Paul @pfi have some great tips but as always do your own due diligence as everything here is general in nature.
I also listen to the property couch podcast by Ben Kingsley and Bryce Holdaway which complements this forum nicely.
    Good luck

    Regards
    Al. "The novice"
