I take my hat off to Theresa May - she didn't want Brexit but has been working damn hard to get some sort of decent deal.

Problem is the critics think the UK should be able to exit with all the advantages they've enjoyed, but take no part in the negatives. It's like a divorce where both parties find it hard to get their head around that they only walk away with half - there is not two "wholes" leftover.

She survived - suspect in part because no one else wanted the job

I don't know about nobody else wanting it. Boris had a bit of a makeover, leading to rumours yesterday he was challenging.

She may have also won because she promised the party that she wouldn't lead them into the next elections.

Edit: here's a before image. It looks like more than just a haircut:

Oh boy - putting Boris in charge would be a definite backwards step

My friends, as I have discovered myself, there are no disasters, only opportunities. And, indeed, opportunities for fresh disasters.

Sounds like the right Man for the job..
