    Hi Andrea and welcome!

You've taken the first step in joining up, so well done!

Second step is reading everything here and asking lots of questions.

Third step is speaking to a broker to find out what's possible In your situation, and devising a plan from there. :)

First step is to determine what's important about property investment for you?

When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. (claimed by some to be an old buddhist proverb).

Invest in yourself first and spend less than you earn , the rest will come, suddenly after about 20 or 30 years you will find you cant spend more than you earn. Understand compounding and how every dollar you spend could grow to be a holiday, car or house depending on when you spend it. Observe what is going on around you get involved with community clubs and pubs, sporting clubs school councils service clubs anywhere high achievers socialize, Aero clubs are a great place as high achievers, risk takers and only special type of people with a special attitude who know how to make money become members. Mix with the doers and learn and build networks. Don't spend too much time on forums reading what pretenders say. People who do, don't need to write about it and have better things to do. Do what you love you will be successfull and you will never want to retire from it. If you ever start wanting to retire it is time to change occupation. The only rule is rules are meant to be broken.
