    Hi all,

I'm currently building a new home and I was hoping someone can assist. I am needing recommendations on building inspection companies around Sydney area. Also when I should engage one and at what stages?

    Thanks,
    Jaypee

You will need to ensure that you speak to your builder and sign the relevant documentation regarding this. That way you won't be in breach of contract and everything will be "by the book".

As @bob shovel mentioned, there are some other threads around this so hopefully there's plenty of info there for you.

Good luck with the new home!

Can you fill it with small yellow or orange notes and leave it at the designated place.

Hi jaypee. It's commonly called a pre settlement inspection. Most good builders are very aware of it and should get one done just prior to settlement.
