Are you using a VPN or Smart DNS?
Does your VPN allow changing countries or are you tied to US only?
Make sure your VPN is actually "turned on" - easy to forget - you might have to turn this on very time you start your device - might depend on your system. I know bugger all about i-thingys

Looks like you're right about The Good Wife not being available in the US.
However it's still available in many other countries - if you can change your settings to UK or Canada you'll have no problems getting seasons 1-5 at the moment.

You can use an app like iStreamGuide which is free for Android & small fee from Apple to see what's available & where. There are also a few websites around that can do a similar thing.

Thanks to much @bbmick. You've made a young sick lady very happy.

iPad is actually looking OK now. Perhaps it was just because they took a lot of programs off the US site.

iStreamGuide looks OK, but the reviews of the Android version state that it will load ads onto other non related apps. I'd rather pay for the iOs version.

If by 'outstanding' you mean 'hot', then yes, she is extremely outstanding.

I have recently kind of run out of "stuff" on Netflix, so we got a subscription to Stan, and have been really impressed.

Heaps of content on there Netflix doesn't have.

We have been watching a series called Power, which is pretty cool.

Big time Drug dealer trying to go straight as a club owner in NY. Pretty cool, with an awesome soundtrack, produced by 50 Cent.

If anyone is into ridiculous comedies, sometime around nowish the new Netflix Original Series "Wet Hot American Summer - The First Day of Camp" starts. It is a prequel to a really silly, but likable movie called Wet Hot American Summer.

I'll hopefully be watching it this weekend.

Binge watched this yesterday when super hungover, such a great first season.

'I'd love to go to New York, but you're an old man and I'm 16 years old.' Hahaha, so good.

The kung fu fighting scene in the kitchen, so lulzy.

I've just seen two movies about the power of education.

First Grader is a movie set in Kenya, about an 83 year old who goes to school for the first time. A good movie, but could have been better.

Girl Rising is a documentary about girls in different parts of the world about how education is affecting them, and about how girls, much more than boys. in many places aren't getting a chance for education. Very good.

Hopefully the US version is better

The Aussie version is like looking in a full fridge or the pantry and there's nothing in there you feel like eating

If you get VPN, check out more than just the US version. I'm actually finding that there's a lot of stuff available in Canada which is not available elsewhere (12 years a slave, Archer series 6). Check out the app iStreamGuide which was mentioned by somebody else- although I've only downloaded onto my iPhone, the Android version has reports of randomly inserting ads into other apps. Not nice. The iPhone version has a small cost.

I've never seen any issue with the Android version, but I don't use my phone for internet very much - only turn on for things like using this app.

They also have a new beta website => http://beta.istreamguide.com/ which is nearly as good.

i heard the Aus Netflix content should improve early next year when a lot of contracts are up. So some shows not available till those contracts expire.

Bates Motel wasn't too bad. I've just watched series 2. A sort of modern prequel to Psycho.

I didn't like this so much, although it rated quite well. I couldn't quite get over the lead understanding Norwegian perfectly yet not being able to speak a word. Some of the acting was laughably bad at times.

AU Netflix is like an empty fridge. Then you get Getflix (and code it on your ADSL modem), Getflix is like a secret key to open another door in the empty fridge, and voila! You get yourself to switch to US/UK etc and see a smorgasbord of food .....

Getflix is a must if you subscribe to AU Netflix.
