How many seasons are there? I've only seen the first and Netflix doesn't have any more. The show is making me nostalgic.

Finished season 4 of Spartacus last night. It was a rad show. Although the replacement star was never as good.

Season 1 is 8 eps only - and has been confirmed for a second season.

That's the trouble with binging such things - such a long wait for the next season :(

Brooklyn Nine Nine is good fun.

Series 1 to 4 is on Netflix. Series 5 is on SBS right now, as I've just found out, but there's no catchup. The shoes are only available for a week, they are up to episode 12.

Shameless had two versions, a British and a US. The US one followed the UK plotline for the first series then went its own way. Both are good, the British one better but a shorter life.

I had watched the British version up to Series 3, which was all that was available. I've just found out that it's now up to Series 10.

    Enjoying Brooklyn Nine Nine.
Thought Broadchurch was a good watch also.

Both good, opposite ends of the spectrum. Brooklyn 99 most recent series (7 I think) was showing on SBS, though they weren't available for streaming for very long. Only series 1-4 are availablen on Netflix. Broadchurch is an excellent English series, with some good character portrayals. Series 2 fits in very well to series 1, series 3 of necessity diverges somewhat.

Up to series 4 of Brooklyn 9 9. Will try and track down the remaining series on SBS as have found myself chuckling quite a bit. The characters being quite unique in a quirky way.
Thoroughly enjoyed Broadchurch. I thought the likely reality of such a situation was portrayed excellently by a well selected cast. How it all tied together was not only clever but riveting.

Sorry, they only had each episode available for two weeks.

The latest series was series 5, not 7, sorry. There are at least some of those episodes available on Vimeo.

Just watched Who is America on Stan.

Made USAns look more intelligent than they are.

Have been able to watch the first 2 episodes of season 5 on Vimeo. Thanks Geoff.
Currently watching Shetland which has an intriguing storyline and some great twists. Some dialogue a little hard to pick up on due to the strong Scottish accent, but overall quite entertaining.

Not very nice. They may think the same about us. I think most humans are intelligent.

    Good and bad.
Good, because it is absolutely riveting, and shows a lot of the side of the war that most people alive won't know about. It is very well narrated, and has numerous personal stories about survivors and families of those who didn't.
Bad, because of its graphic footage, the tragedy, the loss, the futility and insanity of that war which could never be won, and by the massive cover-ups by various government players.
Can't wait to see it again tonight!

It rated 9.2 on IMDB, which is right up there amongst the best (Planet Earth II rated 9.5, another one now on my watch list).

Vietnam also rated very well on Rotten Tomatoes.
