It wasn't really a change of mind. For a whole stack of reasons, we weren't ready to move in.

When we signed the contract, we weren't really ready to buy. We were just doing some research/due diligence with the intention to buy in the next 18 months/two years. While doing this research, we found this place and it ticked every box for us (and I mean every one of our 41 boxes). So, we negotiated and then signed up.

At the time, we gave ourselves 5 years to move. The wife has gotten itchy feet and wants to move in the next 12 to 18 months.

Lucky our plans are flexible :) :).

I know - morning coffee on the deck sounds pretty good.

Actually, other than the view it was the back steps that sold me. They remind me of our shack in Shark Bay where we lived for 3 years. It was a tiny mouse infested dump but it grabbed my heart in some weird way!

Best of luck, brilliant time to be buying. I've got my bargain hunter glasses on for WA at the moment.

Ha - I actually don't have them in order at all, it was a very spur of the moment offer.

You know what they say - the shoemakers kids have no shoes? Well, the brokers purchases have no finance! I'll be desperately getting my tax returns done as soon as the offer is accepted. :D

I don't think it will - I've been getting an update from the selling agent and I asked him if our offer was way off and to put me out of my misery if we've got no hope. He said we were way off. But you never know - maybe they'll like my handwriting or something and take pity :)
