    Hello All

Any advice on this situation please? My neighbour has extended, and their extension is very close to our outdoor deck and our living area. The fence between us does not provide much privacy because A)It's fairly low B) there are "see through" horizontal slats.

Basically whenever I walk out the back of my living room, I'm in danger of making eye contact with the neighbours.

May be I'm just a bit of crank, but I want to screen the fence such that there is no direct eyeline between my porch and their porch. My plan was to put up some sort of privacy lattice, and then affix this shade cloth stuff to cover the exposed horizontal slats, possibly double or triple folding it to block out all light. Any thoughts?

see my fence and the stuff I was going to use. Any better options apart from ripping the fence down and putting in a different one? thanks

Do you live next door to the Medusa or weeping angels?

hedge tree and train it to grow evenly and up. Or else you can build a higher screen/ fence.

what makes u think he will stare at you through the slots?
Have you caught them staring through the slots or you are just thinking it could happen?

Use the mesh in your first picture to cover it up

Just rock around naked in your loungeroom and you'll find your neighbors will be the ones adding the fence extension. Save you some cash.

I saw bamboo and thought you were going to say that bamboo screen stuff, awful.
    Real bamboo plants look good.
