    Hi all

Long time reader of the forum.

We have a PPOR which we will turn into an investment next year.
    It will be negatively geared.
Will labour polices affect that too?

    Regards

Not based on what they said but who knows what the rules will be. They may bring in a law that looks at a change of use but on the strict view in their policy they say its grandfathered for existing property. I wouldnt fully trust that position myself. Maybe its their stage two policy.

You would likely be given advance warning.

No one really knows yet but it will likely be based on contract dates, not change of use.
