I have a property of 1781 m^2 on R2 residential zoning. I have a large lawn of roughly 500m^2. Could there be any opportunity of subdividing this to a second house or potentially a dual occupancy arrangement? A couple of further questions: - cost of full DA and approval process? - what are the advantages of a dual occupancy arrangement? - what key factors define the feasibility of a subdivision? A little off topic, but when considering or doing a development is there a checklist or list of procedures / tasks that people follow? I have a 1,000 sqm block in Bendigo with a small 1940's house on it with street frontage front & back. Thinking of developing to put 2 duplex's on it.
