    Hi Guys

Just a question on the 6 yr exemption rule
Been working overseas (thus non resident for tax) and been renting out the PPOR for < 6 yrs and thinking of selling soon, do I have to be a tax resident to elect to use the 6 yr rule or its ok to sell it while i'm still overseas?

    Thanks!
