Would appreciate some recommendations for a good value and reliable handyman to do some repairs on my property. Need to be able to replace or fix doors.

    Hills area. Thanks

Put in the app Airtasker ... advertise the job , Suburb, put up pics , and put in your offer , you will get tons of replies almost immediately, usually within 5 secondwith their offers

I have a ton of handyman phone numbers now .

Thank you, haven't used them before but I heard really bad reviews about similar services like hire a hubby or something like that. How reliable are the contractors on air tasker?

What's the difference? Is this more reputable?

Either serviceseeking or hipages - yes more reputable for tradies from previous efforts as they are biased towards this type of work.

Sorry to bring this up again. With these, how does it work, you sign up, advertise a job and then people bid for it? How are they vetted? Do you call them up?

I've used it for sourcing a few trades on larger jobs when my usual suspects were tied up elsewhere.

Met with each on site for Scope of Works etc

Thank you, they dont seem to charge anything for listing an ad, is the commission already worked into the price?

Trades pay to be listed so no charges to customers
