I just saw a property at Berowra and put an offer that could possible be accepted. Now i have all these thoughts coming to me especially the below. This is the suburb we would love to move into.

    1. At the open house we were the only couple. Could it be there is some issue with the property that i can figure out? It was the second week on RE site. What could i be missing.

    Need help here.

How long have you been looking and have you seen enough homes to make a fair assessment on what constitutes value? Last weekend was a little quieter, due to the long weekend, so I would expect this weekend to be a little busier.

looking at the sales around, the price we offered seems ok. a bit over priced i would say but everywhere there is nothing under a mil. I think whats bothering me is that no one turned up for viewing and that has been playing on my mind.

    Price is the obvious one.

Get a solicitor to go over the contract, etc before going unconditional. Get a building/pest inspection done.

    Cheers

I wouldn't worry about what others are doing.

Do your own due diligence and back yourself in...

As per Jamie's post, get solicitor to review the contract and pay for the B&p.. Initial outlay now may save you $$$$$ or help you avoid a dud..

But I wouldn't be concerned with others

As per other above - find out the reason - you could be onto a real bargain.
We deliberately seek out properties where the open inspection has a lonely, bored looking agent with the sound of crickets in the background,

If the property is sound (location, structure etc) it can be your lucky break.
