In his spare time he sits at the end of the runway waiting for planes to crash and at railway crossings.....

I'am no expert and I'am here to learn and also I maybe out of place saying this.
I used to frequent a forum that dealt with scammers its quite ironic how close this all sounds
    to one of their baits.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you awesome people who offered help and advice and advise you of the happy ending.
I contacted the Financial Services Ombudsman and was shortly thereafter contacted by a rep of the bank. We discussed the matter and they quickly agreed to allow me the additional time I required to clear the arrears and I was able to do so! Now all is back to normal with them and my stress level has gone way down!
If anyone finds themselves in a similar situation, I highly recommend contacting FOS!

Glad to hear its all sorted.

I think FOS was a sensible approach for no reason other than to stop their so called "lawyer" racking up costs.

I can't see how that is conscionable conduct against someone in financial distress. That alone should of given rise to contacting FOS and having a very valid claim in my uneducated opinion.

Also I believe you would be well within your rights to ask for the breakdown and justification of those charges levied.

I know your probably happy its over now, but you do have a right to challenge the costs levied and if they are appropriate.
