Considering the suburb for future growth and recent sales in the same street, the price seems to be a good deal. All the best!

It's a PPOR, don't let others decide where you should live :)

Personally I wouldn't go near it due to the slope (and wrong direction at that) but hey, like I said, it's your home not mine.

Ok Ken - perhaps you could tell us a little more about your background to allow greater help?

    It's all downhill from here.

@KenK - Where does your water flow?

It's really hard to play football. But pretty great for grass sledding.

Anytime it rains, water will rush down that slope.

    1. More strain on structure - more likely to get ground movement, therefore cracks in brickwork etc
    2. There may be a section of the house (lower floor) in contact with the ground - unless properly water proofed, you'll get damp and damage coming through
    3. Slopes away from street - not good feng shui, brings bad luck ~ ok in modern terms, more likey for cars etc to drive into your house, and as @Trainee says, water can flow from road into your house

I'm brand new in home buying and looking for a house for family. My questions might sound too simple, however I'm a very good listener. Thanks for your responses so far Gurus, thanks.
