    Hi Guys,

I’m struggling to find a good conveyancer at the moment to review a Contract.

Simple purchase of a 3 Bed Townhouse for an IP purchase.

The Conveyancer I used for my purchase in August isn’t working at the moment unfortunately.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

State you're purchasing in? Do you mean a conveyancing solicitor?

We've used Nabil from ANB Lawyers for 10y+ to do our purchases. He can be quite busy but very cluey, saved us from many 'tricky' clauses from the other side.

    Thanks @kristaje!

Does Nabil charge upfront or upon completion?

Really struggling to find a solicitor to review a Contract at the moment. One that was referred to me wanted money up front and I have no idea of their capabilities so did not feel comfortable.

He charges upon completion, but can give you an upfront quote as indication.

So you would prefer to get advice then walk on. Any solicitor should give a costs agreement at the initial meeting. You can walk away. Their job is to demonstrate their capabilities and what they will do.

The most notable thing about your character Paul is that you love nothing more than to make an assumption. Bad ones at that.

It’s evident in nearly All of your posts.

Thanks again for another futile contribution from negative Paul

We used Kydon Segal who have both lawyers and conveyancers. Used them for the sale of our unit, thought they were good so used them for the purchase of our house too. No issues with either.
