    Howdy

Looking to purchase a property, price is fairly good, but it has NBN running through the property.
Literally running diagonally through the property.
This one will be a reno/flip, we will porentially be adding a deck.
How is this likely to effect sale/construction works etc.
Below is an extract from the NBN notes, also WTF since when can they just use your property to run cables ten impose restrictions?

In carrying out any works in the vicinity of nbn facilities, you must maintain the

    following minimum clearances:

    • 300mm when laying assets inline, horizontally or vertically

    • 500mm when operating vibrating equipment, for example: jackhammers or

    • 1000mm when operating mechanical excavators.

Sigh... I'm not confused, I'm seeking anyone who has dealt with NBN connections running through their property.
What is on paper is sometimes very different from what happens in reality.
