    Its often not all there. Infrastructure to the inside wall or all the way to the pit outside ? A sparkie cant run to the pit. Most builders / sparkies will install a line in to the home that isnt connected to the pit beyond the box on the wall under the meter board usually. Some wont especially where the street hasnt even had NBN through.

    the $300 from telstra would only apply if there was no physical link to activate. Otherwise it was $79 for a logical connection charge I believe.

    nbn charge has nothing to do with physical connection as it applies even if Pcd and NTD are in place and ranging already
