Well new NBA season is about to start. Let's start off with discounted NBA League Pass ($148AUD) if you buy it via Canadian VPN, rather than paying the ripoff price of $329AUD:

NBA League Pass 2016-2017: $150CAD ($148AUS) via Canada VPN ($330 Locally)

Make sure you turn off auto renewal if you already subscribe to League Pass under Australian price previously.

I used inbuilt Opera browser with country set to Canada, and opened incognito/private browser to buy it.

I look forward to the new season. The Warriors will be a very interesting team to watch.

I just watch it on Foxtel, they are showing double the amount of games this year which is plenty. They play way too many games as it is anyway. If they played half the amount of games it would be a lot better I reckon.

Mark Price will get used to playing a supporting role to KD this year. :p

Turn auto subscription off for next season. You can do it in your settings section.

I have it constantly streaming in the office on a separate device. On the weekends I'll watch at least two/three games with my compete attention. During the week it's more background noise and I'll focus on it if something amazing is happening/the game is in the fourth and is close.

I need more than foxtel for my fix

    Cheers

Excited for the season, took the smart business decision of not renewing league pass.

Love the small market teams and their young rosters - philly, bucks, suns, minnesota

Gee some of those young players have been a pleasure to watch in the preseason.

Booker look all-start, Townsend looks like a young TD, Embiid has been worth the wait

Hope someone out of the big teams makes a run at the playoffs

Booker is one to watch - he has a VERY bright future. He'll be a star.

    Not long now!!!! Can't wait.

I'm just holding out for those games that the Warriors look like losing.

Worried that the Cavs may drop off this season especially with the JR Smith contract saga and Tristan Thompson being distracted by a Kardashian. Her trail of destruction is there...

I reckon the Cavs will win it again.

There's no pressure on Lebron now - he'll just coast through the regular season.

The Cavs know that they can finish anywhere in the top 8 and still win the East.

Raps and Boston are the only threats - and neither of them will come close.

Didn't know about that TT dilemma though - damn :-(

    Cheers

I hope so! There's really only 3 teams that have a chance at the championship this year. Cavs/Warriors/Spurs.

Jalen & Jacoby talk about it around the 19 minute mark haha. Obama's Support, KD's New Tattoo and Twitter Questions

I support Rockets so hope Harden is back to his MVP levels pre meeting the Kardashian!

    Ahem......Clippers :)

Seriously though - they match up well with both the Dubs and Spurs. If they stay healthy and have some luck on their side.....anything could happen.

    Cheers

    Yes!!!!!

Love clips games at staples. Cheaper than lakers and better quality players to watch.

LA live is a lot of fun too!

I'm over in Feb for the dubs game - can't wait!

Surprised that no one really talk about the Playoffs.

Golden State and Cleveland are the most likely finalists again. Cleveland just blew Indiana and Toronto. Golden State blew Portland and Utah apart.

San Antonio and Houston is very interesting matchup. Kawhi Leonard vs James Harden (defence vs offence). Boston and Washington is fascinating only because I was surprised by how good Washington is. But I think it will be GSW vs CLE again.

I may have become a little excited when I saw this thread reappear just now.

    I'm with you - it's dubs v cavs 3.0.

In the east - neither the Wizards or Celtics can hang with the cavs. They can't even come close - I'd be surprised if they won one game.

On that note - and I don't know how it's possible, but Lebron has taken his game to another level. I've been watching him closely since around 07 and this would have to be one of his most dominant post seasons. He doesn't look like losing. The cavs are healthy. K Love is playing to his ability. Swish is back. Korver is shooting at a high clip.

The Dubs are outstanding - they have 4 of the top 20 best players.....BUT the Cavs will win this in 6.

That is a big call on Cavs in 6.

But yes, now that he has brought Cleveland to fantasy land last year, he seemed so "locked in" this year and determined to do it again. To me, most important is to keep him fresh, what it means is that Cleveland would need to blow Celtics or Wizards to say 4-0 so he can recover. The fact that Cavs are in Eastern Conference helps him as I think Western is much tougher.

I am still amazed with the line up at Dubs though. Durant, Curry, Thompson, Green is extremely formidable. I cannot wait for the Finals.
