I've been to this in the past, had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's on again in Canberra between 18 - 22 April.

The pricing of tickets maybe up there however. While it isn't a heck of a lot for me, it could be a bit of a stretch for some, especially families.

Apart from that I think it is well worth attending.

Disclaimer: Not a paid advertisement but, gees, it'd be nice if it were.

I have not been to the Canberra Folk Festival but Folk festivals and bush dancing and music were a big part of our younger selves - ahh, memories......we just might get there one day - I will put it on the list for next year. To much on at the moment but hopefully things will be less hectic next year. Thanks for reminding me :)

    Goooood.

I may get there for a day.

I doubt though there will be a rousing rendition of Eskimo Nell or that lilting sea shanty The Good Ship Venus.
