    Attended this a couple days ago, they had a couple very interesting speakers and it's the same people that runs the Tony Robbins seminars locally.

    Of course they had a couple speakers who were selling their products/ services and they definitely was able to pitch convincingly, provide 'extreme value' with a 'scarcity' factor and strong marketing wrapped around it.

    To fill the hall, they:
    1. Placed their own people within the audience. They're selling an annual pass to all their seminars and these people can attend for 'free'. They then try to sell the same thing to you during the seminar!
    2. During networking, even spoke to a guy who's on centrelink, so it seems like they sponsor a couple as well.

    Not posting this negatively, am quite impressed with the way they market, upsell cross sell, creating urgency.

    Now, this being a property forum, one of the speakers was Kevin Green. He sells himself as the largest private home owner in Europe, personally owning over 1,600 properties with an average LVR of 13%.

    At least 15 people went on to the side tables to sign on for his property course, so that's an easy $60K (4K each valued at 10K, giving a 60% discount) for him in the span of 90 minutes.

    The couple speakers who had nothing to sell i.e. Daymond John of Shark Tank USA, Lisa Messenger and Gary Vayner. All three provided the sacrifices one has to go through to be truly successful. Except Gary who's a self proclaimed workaholic who has no time for anyone else, the other two chose business over family.
