    Classic!

My favourite mini series this year would be the Candy Man mansion follow ups

The part about the kids living there is sad though

Also funny but sad was the con men selling off road camper trailers for 40k a pop

Or the people who complain they bought a lemon car but didn't get an RACV car check.

Or the ones on The Project last night, complaining about a 15 foot statue in their neighbor's yard, I thought it was bloody horrible personally but they were to great lengths to explain that they have no issue with the statue itself, just the size and how they can see it from every room........... sort of like a tree maybe??

Seriously though, the owners have to be having some sort of a joke, it was putrid :p

Not being 100% truthful - no such thing. There's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

It's terrible; reporters trying to get confessions out of criminals through car windows and so froth...

The only time I enjoyed that show was when a loser skanky bogan came out of court and was confronted by the ACA guy.

The bogan was found guilty on some charge of course.

The bogan poured his can of coke (why do these ****** always have one of those, and/or a ciggy?) over the reporter and kept walking, and also flipped the reporter the bird. He thought he was hilarious.

The reporter ran after him, smashed him in the head and got him on the ground in the gutter, and kept on smashing his head in.

    It was brilliant.

Now, if they show more of that type of reporting - I'd watch it every night...

Good to see the bad guys cop a hiding instead of some waste of time lame questioning on the run.

You can buy all the "below market value" ********s in Mudgee you want, but it won't convince me that you are a property genius.

Similar to people who bought in Sydney before the current boom. I think someone that's made money from other areas are more of a property genius than from that situation. No comment on whether NB is or isn't a property genius.

This was common place 60+ years ago apparently. Tie string around the tooth, attach to a door handle, swill some whisky, job done.

    Hi Sash,

Are you saying Orange is no good (or you do not like it) or that properties were offered/bought that were poor value by some ?

Oh no, makes me feel ill, I know a mad Ukrainian who drank a bottle of vodka and used pliers to pull out 2. What people do to save money, don't try this at home kids:eek:

It's not always better at the dentist's though.... I had a couple of wisdom teeth out in the chair a couple of months ago. Both fully erupted, roots nice and straight, very simple presentation. First one came out with no problems. Second one took three times longer than it should have, with the dentist trying to numb the nerve.... and failing. Seriously the most painful thing I've ever experienced.

Moral of the story: just because you think something should be easy/painless, doesn't mean it will be.

Saying that some of the commission homes bought were very poor quality. Not labelling the entire market

I bought my properties in Orange at the same time he did, although he bought in worse streets than mine. We were both at a meet and he was portfolio-bragging and mentioned the value of his renovated houses and their rental value. He was tens of thousands off the true value and probably $50 off the true rental value. If he does this with every property he owns then his portfolio is worth millions more in his eyes than anyone elses.

Reading that back it seems a bit narky. Particularly as I've done bugger all relative to what he's done since then.

Didn't come across that way to me. I guessing it'd be the same in every town he visited?
