I'm from interstate and looking at properties at different areas and Nairne is one of them. The properties are a lot affordable but I'm not sure how livable this town is. I've been there twice. It seems pretty quiet, which is what I like.

However, I have mixed feelings about this place such as:
    1. housing commission and crime rates - crime rates seems low but not sure about public housing in this area
    2. schools - they have a primary school but for high school, the only option is Mt Barker. I don't know how good are high schools at Mt Barker. Mt Barker doesn't seem like a nice place in terms of crime rates but I could be wrong.
    3. due to it's affordability and plenty of new development going on, this town may soon become crowded and end up being a new Salisbury/Elizabeth?

Nairne is ok. Bushfire risk is a factor...... won't get like elizabeth I shouldn't think. It's quite a way from cbd, but it is Adelaide.......

Stirling is thru the roof, so does that auger well for all hills locations?
