my belief is that Solomon Lew will take over .

Well, I truly do hope they and DJs continue to do well into the future - they are anchor tenants in some of the centres I have ownership interests in....

Last November Solomon tried to get onto the myer board but was rejected.

since then shares have gone from 78 cents to 62 cents.

I've chatted with a Myer sale manager and she said they're going to close down more stores.

Lew could buy more myer shares (more than 25%) without triggering a take over target as long as the purchase plan takes over 6 months.

Alibaba is the best as China has been taken over the US as the purchasing powerhouse.

There is nothing wrong with the ownership , but name-dropping and linking the both is when the decline starts..good luck..

I used to love shopping at Myer but the last few times I have been in store the value was not there in terms of product or service. Just not competitive lately and retail spending is down. Better products (the prices were absurd too) and professional well paid staff and would improve. Myer has been complacent for some time.
