I just had some plantation shutters installed in my PPOR .
2 big windows costs $2700, this one and another on the other side .

I wasnt happy wity the Company who took 8 weeks to make them plus left a mess on finishing.

Cant say I'm overly happy with them , but better than the verticals before them.

They would look good in my IP but I wouldnt risk it as they can easily get damaged.

They do look way better than verticals for sure. Enjoy!

Huge improvement over the verticals! :) Not sure I'd want to get shutters in an investment property of mine though. Without proper care and maintenance they can get damaged and the warranty voided. What type of plantation shutters are they? (PVC/Polymer... etc)

Curtains are the go in IP's, cheap and easy to replace in the future when required. Have organised a few for clients usually buy them at IKEA and have cut to length, not much more than $60 for a decent set plus cutting.

What are they made of? Wood or aluminium?

I was looking into doing aluminium ones powder coated white for my PPOR a while back. They look awesome.
