    Hi Jason
    Sounds good
We have been calorie counting, I am on 1200 cal per day partner on 1500 cal. I have lost 6 kg in 7-8 weeks, partner has lost 11 kg. We still go out dining etc and have a life, otherwise it would be too hard to stay on track. One cheat day per week.

I used to ride the Terry's creek trail on my ride to work back in the day, along with a loop through LCNP. Was a great way to start the day!

    Cheers,

    Diet provides the building blocks.
Exercise creates a stimulus to process and arrange the building blocks provided in the best possible way so that you can have a strong, healthy, resilient and functional body.

A more drastic way is to be diagnosed as a diabetic. :)

With a change in diet as a result I've gone from 84kg to 76kg - walking helps too.

    Wow! Good effort.

    I have dropped 25kg (~110kg to ~85kg) over the past 8 months.

Increased exercise (1+ hours of power walking each day, so nothing too strenuous).

Decreased sugar / high calorie food. I'm a sucker for finishing what I start when it comes to chocolate and desserts (think smashing a 'family size' block of chocolate in a sitting) so the biggest change in my diet was making a habit of smaller portions.

Just trying to introduce eating and exercise habits that I can stick to over the long term.
