    Hi Guys,

After reviewing our holdings and strategy and not seeing any improvement in the coal industry in the short to medium term it is time to sell off our IP in Muswellbrook.

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with agents out there and can anyone recommend a selling agent in the area please.

    Thanks in advance.

John flood- not bad for selling but they are all pretty arrogant
    Premium - Avoid, utterly useless
    LJ hooker - not bad
    JTS - not bad
professionals - not bad, PM side is useless

You and hundreds of others are selling in Muswellbrook... But because the prices went up i refuse to pay the sales prices they want !!

$165,000 for a ex housing dept house in Tobruk Ave !!!!
No wonder they're not selling !!

@tomlemke is an agent in Newcastle. He's also an active investor and contributor to this forum. I'm sure he'll do a great job.

    Cheers

There is no short or medium or long, writing seemed to be on the wall long ago.

Frankly, due to the drop and probably lack of interest, it would be something I would drive 5 hrs for and hold opens myself. You can probably talk the place up better yourself.

Lot of agents in these places are hopeless, I am not familiar with there, but it is true, I called one agent up there a while ago about a place they had, he basically whinged to me on the phone about how crappy the area is and REA business in general.

They are great for buyers though.

I didnt deal with commercial but found eph 1st national to be unprofessional run by a rude husband and wife with no idea and heaps of attitude and arrogance to go with it

    Thanks everyone.
Similar to the Property Managers ( which are useless ) in the area it seems that it is hard to find any agents that come highly recommended.
Will have a chat with a few of them and see how I go.... unless of course someone can send me through an article stating that a few mines are about to open up, the price of coal is on the up and they will need thousands of workers out there asap ;)
